How can I write Custom Selectors for UiSpy?

Generated AppMasks have the following code segment:

"CustomSelectors": [],

Using various UiAutomation “spy” tools I can determine many selector elements. I would like to try incorporating these into an AppMask. As an example, I use the “SimpleSpy.au3” available from AutoIt UiAutomation thread. Hovering over the ‘File’ menu of notepad, the tool gives me the following information (and more):

Might I be able to use some of that information to build a Custom Selector? As it is, I’m so far not able to select Notepad menubar controls from UiSpy, and I’m hoping Custom Selectors may help (so would the ability to send {Ctrl}, {Alt}, {Win} and {Shift} as modifier keys, but that’s another story - I can send them without error using ```MouseAndKeyboard.PressReleaseKey,
`but they are not recognized by the Notepad Edit control, thus this inquiry).

Thanks in advance,
